Jessica Holmes is a passionate advocate for workers' rights and social justice, currently serving as the State Auditor. With a background as a former staff attorney for NCAE, Holmes has a deep understanding of the challenges facing educators and public employees. During her time with NCAE, she fought tirelessly to protect the rights of teachers and promote equitable education policies. As Chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, Holmes continued her advocacy for progressive policies, including affordable housing, transportation, and environmental sustainability. Her dedication to serving her community and fighting for the rights of all residents has made her a respected leader in North Carolina politics.
