“As the son and grandson of retired public-school teachers I am grateful for the support of NCAE. I understand the impact all educators—teachers, cafeteria workers, guidance counselors, and more—had on molding my ability to take on the world. Through my work in CMS schools with Delaware College Scholars, I am especially cognizant that our educators need strong advocates in Raleigh and around the state. I am excited to partner with NCAE on the campaign trail and over the following four years as their candidate for NC Commissioner of Labor.”
